Stuart Haygarth
ANALYSIS
Haygarth creates information images by using different types of objects that he can find around his house. He does this by placing the objects apart and making sure you know what they.
He wanted us to consider about what he likes as a person . Haygarth is considering his interests and what he likes to do in free time or as an activity. This is shown by the objects he has used. Haygarth was interested in this because he felt that instead of writing about what he likes he thought that he could put objects that reflect his hobby and it may reflect what he likes to do in his free time in a visual form.
Haygarth has used a darkroom in creating this work.
This creates a inspirational effect. This is because it really brings out the colors. This helps to support Haygarth point about showing his identity and what his hobbies are or what he does in his free time.

Jan Groover
ANALYSIS
Jan Groover creates images that are different because no one would think of doing something like this and it represents reflection.
She does this by putting clean dishes, pots and pans in a sink and takes photos of the object in the sink. the objects reflect the light and make a reflection of light and it shows the object around it.
She wanted us to consider the reflection of the objects and the contrast between them all
Jan Groover is considering using photography instead of painting, Groover complicates the notion of representation, and emphasizes the capacity of photography to make works of the imagination.
This is shown by how you can see the other objects in the photo just by looking at the one pot, as the pot reflects the other objects around it.
Jan Groover was interested in this issue because she thought that it was important to see what is around us as human beings as we are not all perfect to know what is happening.
Jan Groover has used a stainless steel sink to fit in well with the pots and pans in, creating her work.
This creates a reflective effect. This is shown by what she used in the photo, in this case the chrome pots and pans and the light reflecting off them.
This helps to support Jan Grover's point about showing reflection in everyday life and the meaning of reflection in the past.

Here are some I have done
|
In these photos I used the light from my kitchen lights which made that shine on all the chrome things in my sink but i did not really think that it was enough light so some of them have flash on them which makes the photo brighter and look nicer.

Andre Kertsz
ANALYSIS
Andre Kertsz creates a dull and depressing theme in the image. He does this by changing the image into black and white and adding one or two objects. He wanted us to consider how to feel when we see this photo and what's really happening. He makes the fork look bent by going to a dark room and shining a torch from different angles to create a shadow. This creates a nice tone in the image because of the balance of black, white and grey.

In these photos of the forks I used a torch to create a shadow of them and I took a photo. To create the different shapes with the forks I positioned them in different ways.

Robert Holden 'Burning House' Project
ANALYSIS
Robert Holden creates a image of reality and honesty
He does this by showing us photos of what he can't live with out which i being honest and showing that if his house burned down then he would bring and prioritise all of these thing e.g. his dog and his rabbit
He wanted us to consider the things that he would bring with him in the case of a fire at his house
Robert Holden is considering how people can still do photograph even with natural light and even with not much equipment he is still able to do good photographs
This is shown by how he has not included any words and he has just put objects.
Robert Holden was interested in this issue because he felt that it was important that he addresses that you do not have to speak.
Robert Holden has used different types of materials and different lighting in creating this work.
This creates a spooky effect. in the first one it looks like he only has one window and does not get much light in his room
This helps to support Robert Holden's point about showing that no matter how much money you have you can still take a good photo with little equipment.

Luke Stephenson
ANALYSIS
Luke Stephenson creates a gif
He does this by taking multiple photos of something like popcorn for example. All the popcorns in a bag are not all the same shape and size so when he puts them tougher it makes it cool how they are all different shapes.
Luke Stephenson has used a normal room in creating this work.
This creates a weird effect because it has different size popcorn whether it is a big one or a small one next because he has mixed them up.

Here's one that I did
Edward Weston
Edward Weston dicidedes to do this to show imagination. This is shown by the one on the left could represent two people hugging or someone boxing with two armes. The one on the right could show someone leaning back and their hair on a table. He does this to grab the viewer's attention by seeing something so weird but then when you look closely you can see these shapes and different ways of seeing these objects.
Here are some I took
David Hockney
I think David Hockney made these photos like this to make them look distorted and look attractive to the human eye. He does this by taking a range of photos and putting them tougher but making them look distorted and deformed. On the left we can see that the chair looks like it has been bent but what he did was he took a series of photos and put them tougher like a puzzle but did not line them up. and on the right we can see that it is a room and it looks like a hotel room. With this photo he took a lot more photos than with the chair but this is because the room is bigger than the chair.
Here are the photojoiners that I took
I think that my chair photo is not as good as my room joiner because in the chair joiner the middle looks like one piece, on the other hand my room joiner shows all the different pieces better. Overall I think that I did very well. Next time I could make all the edges of the photos matchup to make the photo square.

Development
Thomas kellner |
Steve Purnell |
The artist Thomas Kellner takes lots of close up parts of famous landmarks on a film camera and puts them tougher and then it looks like a one big image. This artist links to David Hockney because he takes a series of pictures and joins them tougher to make them look like one big photo. I like them because it is a more in depth photo shoot and I like his work because it is so precise and looks good
They both take photos of the same object and put them tougher differently. David Hockney's photos are less precise, on the other hand Thomas Kellner photos are more precise and are more accurate. My plan is to go to central London and take photos of Tower bridge and with a glass of water then put them tougher

thomas kellner
I like Thomas Kellners work because it is very different from other photographers' work in the way that it takes more time and effort to make such a masterpiece. It is just so unique to the human eye and very eye-catching because it is not all 100% lined up perfectly.
HERE ARE SOME THAT I TOOK
I think that the building that I chose was a bit hard to photograph because it was on a bend and the photo that I looked at on the internet was actually taken from on top of a google car to make google maps and so it took the photo from a more even angle and was taken looking straight at the building but mine were from the floor and lower down so I had to position the camera upwards so I could get the shot.
Steve pURNELL
I like Steve Purnell's work because it is just very hypnotizing to the eye and would stand out in an art gallery. Also it is very different from other photographers' work. This is also very unique to the human eye as it makes such simple things look so different.
here are some that i took at school
|
In these photos I took a picture of a black and white pattern through different types of glasses filled with water. But I thought that it looked a bit plain so I decided to take photos in front of a sheet of paper with different coloured stripes on because I think that I looked better, less plain.
|
here are some that i took at home
|
Although the photos are supposed to be in black and white. I think that they look better in colour because it is more attractive to that eye. These are my best photos because they are not too blurry and are good examples of what I am trying to show because they are in colour. Next time I will take their portrait so that you can see the type of glass that I used in each photo.
